I've heard there is / was a graveyard at Winwick former Mental Hospital for patients and I was wondering if a cemetery was available on site for the former lunatic asylum patients at Eccleston near Prescot (as per 1911 census find) - does anyone know where these records are kept - thank you!

Hi,
Lancashire Archives would be a good place to start a search:

Burials for Rainhill Hospital were usually at St.Helens Cemetery.. The records for this cemetery are available free of charge on line....
