Thiis photo has been posted by the Museum of Lincolnshire Life in the hope that someone can identify the location. It was possibly taken in 1912-1913. So far there has been no luck in tracing the businesses in Lincolnshire. The poster is advertising Lincoln Fair. Having taken a closer, look the three motorcycles on the left all have registration plates with the prefix letter C. This was used in Yorkshire up to 1912.
Any ideas out there?
Thank you

Hanson's [...]chbuilding Works.
Maybe Coachbuilding?

Hi, it could be Hansons coach building works?
Frank.
Added, sorry Alexander, just seen your post.
-
Coach Building Works it is then.
Have you tried a search on directories?
Could Hansons have gone from building vehicle bodies to running real coaches? There was a Co of this name in Huddersfield.

There are public notices on Hanson's wall. Could someone enhance and sharpen them? I can see the words Property' and 'Lincoln' but nothing else.
Is that a clock spanning the street on the right? Maybe someone would recognise that.

Thanks for the interest so far.
definitely Hansons coachbuilding works.
the poster on the left is advertising Lincoln Fair to br held 10th-12th April
the other poster appears to be headed Boot Repairs.
and there does appear to be a clock above what could be a jewellers shop.
I dont have access to the original Photo so cant enhance it.
