Hi Trevor,
  It's best to remove your e-mail address to protect you from spammers etc.  To do this hit the modify button and then backspace over it.

  To be able to use the PM system properly you need to have made 3 posts - so just one more (can be trivial) and then you can reply to Peter's message by PM.
