Title: George and agnes Fitzgerald Colchester

Looking for the death certificate for George. Have managed to find agnes in 1957 (Colchester). Appear on 1911 census in colchester essex. Went on to have 5 children last born in 1920, all in colchester. Can't find George at all after this. Can anyone else help?
George Fitzgerald born 1883, cork ireland, married 1905 to agnes.

A copy of Agnes's death cert will tell you if she was a widow at that time although it won't help finding a death for George

There is an entry in the Probate index for the Agnes dying in 1957, and that indicates that her husband is still alive then -

Agnes May Fitzgerald of 109 Artillery Street Colchester, married woman, died 15 March 1957 at Essex County Hospital Colchester Probate to Jack Frederick Fitzgerald ships plater and Florence Mary Frape (wife of William Frape) Effects £227 5s


Did George have a middle name?

Thank you will carry on searching. No middle is on his marriage cert.

Hi.......I have Colchester Street directories for 1962 & 1968.

109 Artillery Street is listed as J Fitzgerald in 1962 but vacant in 1968.
