Looking for any information on members of this family;
Thomas Sutcliffe (b 1849) jeweller & post office - The Cross, Elland.
Married to Hannah Marie Horsfall (b 1857) on 22 April 1883
Known issue to Thomas & Hannah were Florence Betrice (b 1888), Kate Evelyn (b 1890) and Thomas Herbert (b 1892)
Trying to trace family after death of Thomas (senior) in 1892 and then death of Hannah in 1912.
Particularly looking for information as to whether the family was able to stay together or in Elland after the death of Thomas.
Daughters may have become teachers - does anyone know of any lists of Pupil Teachers which may be available online?
kind regards Joanofacre

Thank you so much KGarrad,what fantastic information! I am helping one of the Hirst Great Grand children and things are a bit sketchy probably because there were periods of seperation and the kate going into the ophanage. Are you able to confirm the following in the 1891C? I believe Thomas Hannah & Baby Kate together in Elland area but unsure of the address also Florence Betrice 2yo appears to be residing with her Grandfather Walter Sutcliffe also somewhere in Elland? Do you know the occupation of Thomas Herbert?
Thank you again for your help with this. Regards Joan
