George Main was born 1st November, 1819 and died 29th June 1892. He was my GG Grandfather. He married his cousin Helen, daughter of his father's brother Robert. George was the son of John. George had a son Robert who was married firstly to Joanna Robertson, and had 4 children Robert (my grandfather), George , Helen and Joseph. After first wife died he married Elizabeth Craig (who already was a single mother, of my granny, Elizabeth) My grandfather Robert Married step sister Elizabeth, and they had 10 children, one being my mam Jessie Main. I have never found the burial place of my G grandmothe Joanna Robertson. I can't find any record. Would you happen to anything about her?

Hello Margaret and welcome to Rootschat.
you don't say where any of these people died (or where they lived). Do you have any evidence that Joanna was perhaps buried in Kirkhill burial ground? Some dates would also help narrow things down. When did Robert's second marriage take place? That would help pinpoint Joanna's date of death if you don't already know it.
