Title: Retirement from Metropolitan Police (1887): George Woolway

I ordered the Retirement from Metropolitan Police Record, for William Davis, & was sent this in error.
I have 2 copies, so if anybody is researching
a George Woolway born Lapford Devon in  Dec 1841, son of William & Sarah Woolway, &
married to Sarah, this will be of interest to you.

I would be interested in information about William D. Davis, but I am not related, I am a museum employee processing a donation to the city museum where he spent his last 24 years and was interred. Items donated were related to his Metropolitan Police era (police batons).

All I have is a photocopy of obituaries and a portrait.

The William Davis I have information on, is William Bonnick Davis, is this the person you are interested in?

Sorry, it would seem I was after information about another William (Dominic) Davis, born 14 August 1848 of the Met.
