Title: Assistance Please? Charles and Margaret Glennie
Post by: New Zealander on Monday 16 June 14 06:48 BST (UK)
This photograph of my late parents in the early 1950's.

Is it possible please to clean and sharpen the picture to remove the spots and marks?

Roof of house is slate or tiles  and built aprox 1912 / 1913 of German Design when the Telefunken Company from Germany built the ZLB Awarua Radio Station.  The Germans then scarpered from New Zealand prior to  the outbreak of WW1.

Any help and assistance would be much appreciated.

Alex G :)

The car appears to be a Humber c 1936.  Todd Motors of Otago assembled Humbers after 1935.
Attached pic, whilst not identical to car in your post, general body work suggests a Humber. Perhaps the few differences are options specific to the New Zealand market.
Regards,

Morrie
