Looking for any information about Joseph Strutt b about 1830 London who was a fisherman in Hull in the mid 1800s. He was married to Mary in one census, possibly Jane ne Healey and lived with Eliza nee Jackman, and had two sons Joseph William and John (1854 and 1856 respectively).
Many thanks

Hi Carol
Yes that is him!
We can find him in 1861 and 1891 - we assume he must have been at sea for the other census. We can find no deaths for his wife Mary (1861 census). We believe that he may also have married Jane Healey in 1863 but she is not with him in any census. In 1891 he is living with Eliza Jackman (she is his daughter in laws mother but although it states that she is his wife, they are not married).
We can find no death for Joseph and wonder if he may have died at sea.

This is one elusive guy ??? Even tried surname variants...strange he doesn't show up in London in 1841 or 51 census....No matching Family trees or census for Joseph with Father..William?

Even family search.org doesn't have any matches for him...beginning to think he used a different Christian name.
