Hi and a warm welcome to Rootschat.

Before we start looking for info, can you tell us what you already have - e.g have you found her on any censuses? Do you know if she married?

Hi
Thank you
Yes she is on the 1901 and 1911 census aged 5 & 15. I know she was in Sheffield in 1921 and had a son Norman onions. I have found a marriage to a john t Harley in 1932 ( in ashby de la zouch) but I'm unsure if it is her? ( I have sent for this marriage certificate today). Would love to know if she did marry and have more children. She had a number of siblings but I would mostly be interested in Maggie and Evelyn onions as they were closest to Emily's age. Any help or point in the right direction would be greatfully received! Thank you Jan, yes this was my grandfather x

The  site  below    has Harley/Onions   births  in Leicestershire  1932  onwards  , who  could  be  siblings  to Norman , can't  mention them on the forum in case they  are still living

I found 3 children from this marriage too :). There isn't anyway of finding out if the marriage is 'my emily' before the marriage certificate arrives is there? It's going to be a long wait!!
