I am interested in the Rotunda Hospital. I have reason to believe that records for births began in the 18th century. Would anyone know if there is an email address so that I could enquire about a birth for 1797. I have made an enquiry of the National Archives but no reply. Would like to contact the hospital directly. Also would anyone know if they would check their records for me.
Thank you for any response.

According to this the records are with the National Archives but you need permission from the hospital to see them.

Thank you all for your replies. Looks like a very nice hospital. One question, would the Archives do a search for a name without fee or would one have to hire someone to do a search? I do not know if the person of interest was born at that hospital.
I could not attend Archives to do a search as I live very far away.
