Hi, I am looking for more details on two of my ancestors. William Samuel Jones and Thomas Ivor Jones they were both bachelors and miners. Their parents were William Samuel Jones (1874) and Rachel Evans. According to some of the information I have been given they were famous pigeon racers. Thx for any help in advance .. M

Troedrhiwfuwch is in the Rhymney Valley, south of the town of Rhymney,
about two-fifths of the way to the town of Bargoed.
The ancient border between Glamorgan and Monmouthshire ran down the
river, and this village seems from my atlas to be on the Glamorgan side,
so in the parish of Gelligaer. The parish on the Monmouthshire bank was
Bedwellty.
Likely Birth Jun 1904
Jones Thomas Ivor Merthyr T. 11a 740
The last available census unable to post details per copyright. Rachel has remarried. William senior must have died between 1903 and 1909. Both boys are with her.
Marriages Dec 1909
EVANS John Thomas Bedwellty 11a 189
JONES Rachel Bedwelty 11a 189
Hope this helps
