All residents (heads of household only) of York Way are listed on Kelly's Directory of Liverpool 1938. It would take too long to list each one of them in a post on here can you be more specific about what you are looking for?

I live in Garston and York Way is a 10 minute walk for me ...I can easily find out in the pubs who lived in a certain number during WW2 ...just post the number and I will see if I can find out for you ... ;)
this link will let you see the type of house it is ...in Garston this estate was nicknamed Hollywood - because the houses all had gardens ...

Only a few names listed on Kelly's Directory of Liverpool 1938 for York Street Garston and they are all shopkeepers.

You can find out all those of voting age from the electoral rolls at the Liverpool Record Office. For the whole household (deceased people only) you could pay for a search of the 1939 Register:-
