Title: muster rolls for royal horse artillery India

Hi can anyone help I'm so confused I'm lookin for some muster roll 186ish  for my grandfather William Doyle who served in c battery d brigade at Kamptee India he was a dragnet in 1869  gunner in 1864 and bombardment in 1866. Any help or advice welcome

As you've been told on your other 2 threads, the muster rolls are not available online!

You have to go to Kew (The National Archives) to look them up yourself.
Either that or pay a researcher to do it for you.

Yes I understand now I posted this a while ago before I knew. You don't have to be sharp about it I'm a newbie and have just started I don't know anything about military, and I don't know where the records for things are kept. So I do ask questions led
