Title: Marriage Look Up

Can anyone help, I am trying to find the parents names of the bride and groom on a marriage certificate. The groom was called Domenico Tassard and spouse Rosa Costa, they were married in June 1860 in Bradford. I would try and look up the records myself but I do not live in the area. Any help would be much appreciated.

The church is unknown (and it was earlier that year) (freebmd site)

Without knowing the church it's too big a task if not otherwise indexed .

As PaulineJ has said, there isn't enough to go on for a lookup.  Bradford registration district covered a lot of parishes, and is currently not covered at all on YorkshireBMD which otherwise can be a good resource for identifying the parish or register office in which a marriage took place.  Additionally if this was a Catholic marriage (Italian names, & the other couple on the page had Irish names) or a register office marriage then a lookup would be impossible anyway.

You can order the marriage certificate from the GRO for £9.25 using the index information from FreeBMD.  As you may be aware, "June" in the reference means that their marriage was registered in the quarter (three months) ended 30 June 1860.

NB You're looking for "parents' names" - but on an English marriage certificate you will only get the names of the parties' fathers, not their mothers.

I think it is 'traveller' with a later gloss of 'hawk'
