does anyone know where the records for this organisation may be found if it still exists, say for around the first world war time.? And am i correct in thinking it had something to do with the royal anti deluvian order of buffaloes.?

If you mean the manchester unity of oddfellows, they still exist https://www.oddfellows.co.uk/.  As far as I know they had nothing to do with the buffaloes but were a similar organisation.
