hi i was wondering if any one could find the parents of john wilkinson born 1790 he married phebe cartwright born 1798 in tipton they had 6 children joseph, john, betsey, phebe, william and edward i know her parents names but i can not find his parents names and dates of birth anywhere thanks karen

According to 1851 census John Wilkinson age 61 wife Phoebe. born Tipton, Staffordshire. Not Warwickshire. He was noted as age 46 in 1841.
Several baptisms around that time but the one possibility I can find is at SAINT THOMAS, DUDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE, this is near to Tipton and is a unique piece of Worcestershire.

John Wilkinson baptised 9 May 1790 parents Edward Wilkinson & Mary.

Worth a check but I have been known to be wrong.
