Post by: bestie on Tuesday 06 May 14 15:34 BST (UK)
Another member of the Brittle family... any ideas as to the date? There is nothing on the back of this photo. Thanks. Jim

Only dateable by the mount which is Edwardian.

I'm thinking the style of shoes came out around 1910ish...still Edwardian. Children are very hard to date, sorry.

Cheers,
China

I hope this helps, Norman Taylor was in Oxford 1914 to 1947, not much good but I would think more likely near the beginning of these dates! Trellisick.

Well...I just came across this by accident.  May I draw your attention to the scandalously attired lady in the second photo...although I warn you, you may be in need of smelling-salts afterward...however, in the interests of research may I point out that the lady is wearing similar three-bar Mary Jane shoes as little Molly, and the photo is dated circa 1920. I might put it a tad earlier, however, that is only my own opinion.
