Title: Henry fewell b. abt 1839 Royal marine light infantry
Post by: swinney on Monday 05 May 14 18:24 BST (UK)
Trying to locate more details on Henry Fewell,

He married an Eliza Scott in berwick upon tweed in 1871. a newspaper cutting says they were both from berwick upon tweed, he was a RN marine, the only Henry Fewell i can locate was born in Moreton, Ongar Essex,
(in 1871 census returns he shows up onboard HMS Rainbow)
Which ties up with a Henry Fewell who served in the RMLI from 1858 to 1873 when he was discharged as an invalid, i cannot seem to find anything else out about him, the family seem to think he was lost at sea, but yet again cannot locate anything on a death for him, any help would be appreciated

Regards

Colin
