This photograph is of my great grandparents taken around 1900, maybe earlier.
I know it is of poor quality. It is however the only one that I have and I wonder what improvement can be made? No "miracles" are expected.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Hi Alex, I came across this post. We have this photo in our family I'm pretty sure it's the original it's very old and seems to be original. I am the granddaughter of one of Sarah Vincent's children.

Thank you for your interesting reply. It is so long ago that I had to go through my notes and refresh memory.
One of Peter and Mary Vincent's daughters, Elizabeth was my great grand mother x 3. She married my great grandfather John Sullivan at Lyttleton on 28.10.1869.
It is one hell of an interesting story how Peter Vincent with his mother and siblings arrived in New Zealand from Cornwall in 1861. From my records Peter Vincent married Mary Harpur from Waimate on 24.10.1868.
I would be very interested in seeing the photograph that you have. Might it be possible to e mail me, or as an attachment to a return message?

Yeah I have been doing research into my Whakapapa and Iwi and came across this photo and I was like wow I have seen this photo at my mother's house. Sara and Ambrose were my nanas parents.
It all gets a little confusing at times doesn't it.
When I am next at mum's I'll take a screenshot and email you. If you want to send me your email.
