Hi everyone!
Im struggling to find this gentleman, he disappears after the 1901 census :(
His birth was registered at Dudley in 1885 & on the 1901 census he resided in Sedgley.
Can anyone shed any light? :)

I have his parents as Thomas & Sarah Ann Woodhouse in 1891. In 1901 his father Thomas was down as a widow.

Is the name spelt properly on the census you have?
I can see an Arthur Woodfield born 1885 Sedgley with a widowed father Thomas in 1901.
This family has two other sons listed Alfred and Thomas.
-
Can you give the Census entries where you have him in 1891 and 1901,again he is not showing
on Ancestry too readily as you describe?

Arthur Woodfield is looking good - in 1891 his mother is Sarah Ann father Thomas.
-
I think Thomas father and Arthur are living together in 1911.

1891 Census shows Thomas & Sarah living with children James, Joseph, Alfred, Thomas, Arthur & Beatrice. Thomas snr, Joseph & Alfred were all farm labourers and Thomas jnr was a colliery bandsman. They resided at 6 Straits Green, Sedgley.
1901 Census shows widow Thomas as head of house with children Alfred, Thomas & Arthur. Thomas snr & Alfred were farm labourers and Thomas jnr & Arthur were iron safe makers. They resided at 6 Straits Green, Sedgley.

Definitely Woodfield not Woodhouse :)

Arthur Woodfield can be found in 1911 by searching for Authur Woodfield, born Staffordshire!
Living in Sedgley with his father.

Definitely Woodfield not Woodhouse :)
Yes sorry Woodfield! It's the awful auto-correct on my phone! Such a nightmare!

Hi
I know of an Arthur Woodfield of The Straits, Straits Green area. In fact he married into the Bunn family. Irene Bunn daughter of Jack Bunn who married Eliza Hale the sister of my Grandmother.
His father was Thomas and mother was ? Brookes.
Hope this helps?
