Can anyone help I am looking for the parents of Eliza Smily Sharpe she was born and died in Middlesbrough.

She married Charles Darnley Leckonby in 1900 in Middlesbrough.

I see that by 1911 she is using Emily, not Eliza so on that basis I think that this could be them in 1891:

Linthorpe is a village within Middlesbrough. 

NOTE: Not sure that "Peckman" is the correct transcription, it could be something starting with an "R" - difficult to read

I think it should read PICKERING.  There is a Jane Elizabeth Pickering b Middlesbrough 1891 and a Frederick William Pickering b Middlesbrough 1889.

Elizabeth Mary Sharpe / Edward Pickering Middlesbrough 1888 Jan-Mar Volume: 9d Page 677

Looks like Elizabeth is Eliza's older sister....

I am looking for the parents of Margaret Lily Leckonby born abt  1903 in Middlesbrough. We definitely know her father was Charles Leckonby as we have her marriage cert. (to Fredrick Ernest Sunley on aug 4th 1923).

I have found a record of a Lilley Leckonby born abt 1903 in Middlesbrough. Father was Charles Leckonby and mother Emly Leckonby.

Can you help? Is Emly Leckonby who you are looking for the parents of?

Yes Margaret Lilly Leckonby is my great grandfathers sister. I am intouch with her branch of the family now
