Hi,
Could you help me to find where Sidney Dobel was born between 1905 and 1910. He was an English military who participated in the battle of Dunkirk in May-June 1940 (did he die there or did he survive?).
According to his uniform and what I found on web (!), he would have been a sergeant or staff sergeant.
Regards
Augustine

Hi,
I think that DecQ 1907 reference is for a marriage for Henry Sidney R Dobel.

Hi,
You are both fantastic. Thank you.
Could you tell me on which website you found this information:
the above was b 1904 in stoke
jun qtr 1906 Sydney Mark Dobell Tenterden (kent) 2a 939
sep qtr 1908 Sydney James Dobell Westhampnett (Sussex) 2b 345
and how I can search further?
I am not sure of the spelling Dobel with one "L". He could also be Dobell, Dobels...
Is Dobell an usual (frequent) surname in UK?
