				Can anyone help

I am tracing my family tree and my great great aunt on my mothers fathers side emigrated to south africa

As far as i have worked out she was born a twin, her name was ann stewart in 1876 in Ardnamurchan

My great aunt started the tree and has Mary marrying a James gardiner

If anyone recognises these names please get in touch , I would love to expand on this side of the family tree

 Thanks

I have found the following in our National archives.  These are all estate files.  Going on your information I think that possibly the first two do not relate to your Mary Ann, as the second one says 'born in London, however the third one spells her surname as Stuart!   If you wish to order a file I suggest you do it through eggsa.org.  Hope this helps and does not add confusion!

This estate file is for a Mary Gardiner who died in 1943 so I would imagine that it is hers even though the spelling of Stewart is incorrect.  There is often an error in the spelling of maiden names depending on who wrote out the death notice.  Would you like information on her children as well?

I think that there is a possibility that, although James died overseas, he had an estate here as well.  In all likelihood he had property or something of value here as well.  If so, I think that these could be his estate papers here.
