If your father is not deceased you will need to remove all his details from your post:

Thanks, would my father be able to post this as it is his details ? all others mentioned are deceased.
-
Sorry, no he can't. Please read the links in my first reply.
-
So a person can only post on here looking for family if they are deceased ? I'm confused. How is anyone searching for relatives if they can only search if they themselves are deceased ?
The links you provided me stated:
"Here on RootsChat we are very concerned that the privacy and security of the living is protected. For this reason we do not allow searches for living persons. "
If i take out the last line (edited).. and my father's details .. i'm not searching for a living person. All others are deceased.

I have modified to suit the rules in the links you provided.

Have you considered the family of the other person you have named in your post?
You state you don't have solid evidence yet you post the information in the public arena.
I have read that many family history forums do not permit the discussion of adoption unless the event took place over 100 years ago.
I have reported this thread to a moderator.

Great so when my father dies in the next few months.. i've been unable to help him find out the answers.
I work in Govt. I understand the need for privacy.. i'm just frustrated that I can;t give him his dying wish! I will delete the specifications of the first post.

One can understand your sense of urgency and frustration, but regrettably, this forum may not be a useful pathway for you at this time.

Hi there
I am very confused reading the post and the comments regarding same.
To me some information must have been removed for a privacy issue.
Are you wanting some information on the three people mentioned in the original post Mel Cap?
regards Jenn

Apologies for the hissy fit yesterday. I have taken a break from the search and feeling a bit better.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
Yes after details on the people listed.. though I'm thinking I'm on the wrong track anyway.
Not sure where to go to next.
I'm assuming there is no way possible find records of births at a particular hospital in 1952? I figure the answers aren't going to come until years from now when we have access to more records.

You could try looking up newspapers for the death or funeral notices and getting other family members names to try contact that way.
They would no doubt be in The Townsville Bulletin

Hi, I have the marriage certificate for Eliza McKay born Harrington, Cumberland 1830 daughter of James McKay and Mary Dand who married Henry Dixon from Dean in Cumberland son of Robert Dixon (Blacksmith). (Married 26 June 1852 at Harrington).
Eliza and Henry arrived 22 Dec 1852 at Geelong on the "James T Foord". Henry was 21, Eliza was 22 with a baby daughter. They were going to Waurn Ponds to Donald McLean.
Henry died 3 June 1853 and is buried Geelong Eastern Cemetery.
If this is the family you were enquiring about I can give you much more on Eliza.
I noticed you are also interested in Munro's from Alness. My g. grandfather John Munro was from there. He migrated to Victoria in 1853.
