Title: COATES Family - Barton-le-Street

Hi there

I am trying to track the COATES family of Barton-le-Street back from my 5 x great grandparents - who were John COATES and Hannah FREER.

I believe Hannah was born around 1755 to William FREER and Ann TAYLOR (and had several siblings - Mary 1749, Ann 1751, Elizabeth 1753 and William 1759), but haven't been able to find a christening to verify that, and I seen from other's trees, that John COATES was born 1752 to a John COATES and Grace ? (and had a sister Jane born 1748), but again, haven't been able to verify any of that.

I am trying to confirm both John and Hannah's parents, and siblings, along with any of the lineage further back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Familysearch also has this record from York marriage bonds and allegations, the transcript shows Hannah Frear born abt 1757 , mother's name Ann Frear
