Title: Where might I find RNR Officer's Pension Records, WW1?
Post by: Romilly on Friday 25 April 14 16:08 BST (UK)
My late father, (Evan Douglas Wilson, 1896-1957) was invalided out of the RNR in 1919, and awarded a Silver War Badge and a Disability Pension, as a result of a head wound suffered in 1917. (Info obtain from his WW1 RNR Service Record).

My query is, - where might I be able to obtain further info concerning his RNR Pension Record? I can only see records for Rating's Pension Records on the National Archives Site.

Hi Romilly,

The National Archives does have some disability pension records, this is their research guide on Royal Navy Officers Pensions http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/research-guides/royal-navy-officer-pensions.htm (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/research-guides/royal-navy-officer-pensions.htm)

Best wishes
