a George Corfield married Honorah Dorsett 14 Feb 1774 by licence and parents consent (not sure whether that means his/hers or both though) Stottesdon, Shropshire with witnesses Eliz Crump and Ann Dorsett.
I've found a candidate for Honorah's baptism but for George there seems to be three candidates in Stottesdon.
1755 George son of George and Ann baptized 3 Jan 1755
1759 Geo son of Wm and Ann baptized 5 Jun 1759
1762 Geo son of Cornelius and Eliz baptized 15 Aug 1762
For Honorah
1757 Honorah dau of Thos and Honorah baptized 11 Apr 1757
Any help/suggestions would be most helpful .

a list of children for George and Honora in Stottesden ?
William 1774 16th November - what month did George /Honora marry ?
Honora 1776
George 1777
Hannah 1779
John 1782 and 1786
Sarah1783
Anne 1788
Thomas 1790
as none are named Cornelius or Eliz ??...I think we can rule out the 1762 baptism of George it would only make George 12 at his marriage ??
as the firstborn was William - the 1759 baptism of George - parents William and Ann - but - this would only make him 16 at his marriage ?...or even 15 depending what month he married and what month he was born ??
so the logical baptism would be 1755 parents George and Ann ??

Thank you for your comments. I'm still wondering about the William/Ann versus George/Ann.
George C married Honorah on 14 Feb 1774 by license and parents consent - I haven't found a source for a copy of that license and don't know whether it would contain the names of the parents. Any suggestions there would be most appreciated.?
But, I think you're right about George and Ann though. So now the question starts to be who was the Ann that father George married.
Appreciate your help.
