I am trying to find the death record of Florence Amy Quick. I know that she died in 1970 in Strathroy, Middlesex Ontario but would like to get a record of the death. Florence was the sister of my grandmother and was born in England in 1887. She married Russell Clair Quick in 1917 in Hastings Sussex England and immigrated to Canada in 1919. Russell was a member of the CEF in WW1. There were 2 children of the marriage, Hilda born in England in 1918 and Harold born in either Canada or the USA in 1927 but I have no further records about them. How do I go about findings the various Vital records? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Pat

Have you contacted the nearest library to see if they can help with the obituary

You're very welcome. Happy Easter to you to. ;D
Using the second variation of the surname - Szabadkay and Canada 411 - you may find a relative

If you do not have access to ancestry, try the sister site http://www.mundia.com/us/ to view the Szabadkay tree.

Hi
Had a quick look in Budapest records for a birth registration c1926 of a George (Gyorgy) Szabadkay and varients of that surname. There were none.
The surname is quite unusual however, so you may wish to consider the very slight possibility that the following Budapest marriage in 1925 could have led to his birth.
Marriage of Otto Szabadkay (son of Ignac and Ilona) to Julianna Malok (dtr of Janos and Borbala) in the 15th district of Budapest on 4th July 1925.

Deaths prior to 1980, marriages prior to 1980, and births prior to 1930 may not be in electronic format.
When applying for a death certificate prior to 1980, marriage certificate prior to 1980 or a birth certificate prior to 1930, it can take up to an extra 6 to 8 weeks for the registration to be converted into an electronic format before processing can be completed
