Thank you. Might be able to clear up a few gaps!

I bet they don't have Whitchurch parish church records? No one ever has those (bits and pieces on Family Search). :'(
How do you get to browse a particular parish's actual images?

Hi Jill
Coincidentally, I am currently looking at the 1676 marriage of Hugh Wickstede and Susanna Atcherley at Whitchurch!
To view records for a particular parish, start here:
http://search.findmypast.co.uk/search-world-Records/shropshire-archives
Type in the parish (as you type, parish names will be suggested for you to select) and hit the 'Search Shropshire Archives' button without entering any other details. This will bring up a list of the registers held for that parish, which you can then browse. Those held for Whitchurch (and there are lots of them!) include Baptist and URC as well as Anglican. Here's a link:

Good luck!

Kept me occupied for a few hours yesterday, got back a couple more generations on one of my lines.
Does anyone know if this includes every existing parish register for Shropshire?
For example my 5G grandparents Peter and Mary Danks had 5 children in Madeley between 1716 & 1727. I also have Peter's birth in Madeley in 1689 but can't find their marriage. This suggests that Mary was from another parish but there's no sign of their marriage on findmypast. Does this mean the record doesn't exist or are there other sources not included on FindMyPast?

FindMyPast posted on their Facebook page yesterday that they haven't finished uploading all their Shropshire records yet, so with a bit of luck some of the "missing" records may yet turn up. ;)

That happened to me frequently yesterday. I tried using the "download" button at the bottom right side and was able to view the image. The normal download popup message asking to click on "open" or "save" appeared and then I could access the image.
Hope it works for you.

Thanks for the tip Katherine,
I'll give that a try :)

Good to see the Shropshire records and Ive managed to go back a couple of generations seeing the real entry BUT I noticed with a few of mine that the actual date given on the list of names on initial search is different from the transcript so advise people to check both transcript and the visual record. One of mine was out by about 20 years.

Shropshire genealogist Martin James noticed an interesting development today - it looks like some Bishop's Transcripts are on their way to join the existing Shropshire record sets, for periods starting 1630 and ending 1685 (baptisms) or 1692 (marriages and burials). You can see the record sets listed here, but note that at the time of posting this message, there are no records yet uploaded for the BT record sets:
