Hi looking for any help on a marriage between John Keogh and Nellie Harrison around the 1900-1915 in Hindley Wigan.
There were 3 children born
John,Joseph and Peggy but not sure on their age or when born.
I know Nellie had a brother called William Harrison.
Any help would be appreciated

found Joseph born oct-dec 1914 in Wigan just says mother's name Keogh!

I have found in 1901 census and wondered if this might be your Nellie!


 John Molyneaux  45
 Mozella Molyneaux  50
 Georgina H Molyneaux  22
 Ernest B Molyneaux  20
 Gertrude D Molyneaux  16
 Nellie E Harrison  21 Wigan, Lancashire, England (Niece) birth 1880

living at 386 Ormskirk rd, st Johns Pemberton Lancaster.

You say this is all the information you have - what is the source because something definitely seems to be wrong.

FACTS

There are NO Keogh/Harrison births in the whole of Lancashire until 1934 (and parents seems to be a Thomas and Frances).

There is no marriage between a John Keogh and a Harrison in Lancashire for the relevant time frame (albeit Wigan or anywhere else in Lancashire).

Between 1901 and 1911 there were only 2 families in Wigan - a Keogh and a Keough - but neither family ties in with your details at all.

Hi Annette
I am very sorry but I didn't get my facts right before asking for help.
Mary Ellen is her proper name not Nellie (1896)
and she did marry a John not Joseph.  (John Kehoe) 1916 wigan register office.
I found this information about her name on the 1911 census Ellen being another name for Nellie
which she was always known as auntie Nellie
So please except my apology.

They are all on www.lancashirebmd.org.uk and all are registered in Hindley , Wigan
