Hi,
Am looking for the above marriage - probably in Durham County before 1853 when eldest daughter Selina was born. A second daughter followed (c 1856) before son John was born c 1858.
I don't have any babtismal data, nor do I know what happened to the family.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Allan,
Many places had historical Atlas done for Durham Co.. You should be able to contact the local public library to see if they can send you a copy thru inter-library loan for Durham Co.. They may have some other local history books and materials as well that will be usefull for you.
Hope that helps.

Hi Allan,
I have used the Historical atlases in the past. I have also found town picture books as well as town histories and a couple church histories quite helpful in getting info of my ancestors in those places :-)
Norfolk as well as Lambton Counties have great museums there with a large genealogy section in them where the staff were very helpful in locating pre-confederation info for me. I am guess there is a similar one in Durham Co. that could help you. You can contact them to see if they can help you out :-)

Hi Allan,
I didn't know where you ware located. I would contact the local genealogy/history group or public library to conduct a look-up for you (it might cost a small donation). I would do it, but our library doesn't have them in their stacks. Cheers,
JDC
