Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone out there may have access to the parish records for Furneux Pelham, Herts and would be able to do a lookup for me.
I am searching for christening of Ann ALET, my x7 gt grandmother.
Ann married Robert PHAR / FARR on 26 Jan 1719 in Albury, Herts - the marriage record states she is of Fornix Pelham, which a google search has led me to believe is the same a Furneux Pelham.
There are several trees on Ancestry that have linked Ann to a christening in Walkern for an Ann ALIOT - I am not so sure about that, and would be keen to see if there are some ALET (or close variation of) records for Furneux Pelham in the late 1600s early 1700s that may be more appropriate.
Many thanks,
Anita

Hi Anita,
Just one thought on possible variations on the name - Aylott is quite a common name found in this area.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the tip.
I know the people who had linked Ann to the ALIOT Walkern christening on Ancestry had some Aylott variations in their associated family members.

Thanks Ray. I am sure there are many spelling variants.
It will be interesting to see what options, if any, turn up for this parish.
