im looking for any information on a Sherwood forresters soldier, the only information I have is,
corpral F Lee
Army Number. 22080
and he was on the B.E.F to france in the first world war
Any help would be great

Cannot help, but a bit of advice
Change your title to something like
Sherwood Forresters info required
You will then, hopefully, get more replies as there is something in the title to catch the eye.
And although too late now, there are dedicated miliary boards on here. And I can tell you there is a wealth of experience to be found.
Good luck

What's his first name ?
-
the initial F is all I have, sorry

I can't see a medal card for F Lee with that no. or in the Sherwood Foresters. Nothing on the war graves site either.
Where did this come from.
-
OK found him.
He's listed as Frederick Lee Notts & Derbys Regt.
Enlisted 8/1/15 but doesn't have the 14/15 Star so wasn't overseas until 1916 at the earliest.
Rank Cpl.
