Out of the blue I received some information indicating an ancestor I've been trying to trace died in Miniota, Manitoba in 1963. I'm struggling to find any more information. Can anyone help?
William Ross was born in Scotland in 1905, emigrated to Canada in 1924 at which point I lose track of him. It seems he died in Miniota in 1963. I'd like to be able to confirm that if possible.
Thanks for any help.

From the Brandon Sun newspaper dated 27 Mar 1963:
William Hugh Ross
Miniota - Funeral services were held March 22 in the Miniota United Church for William Hugh Ross, 57, who died suddenly in the Birtle Hospital , March 19. Rev. J.G. Sloan conducted the service and burial was in the Miniota cemetery. Mr. Ross was born in Scotland and came to Canada in 1924 settling in the Willen district where he farmed for over 30 years. He is survived by a sister and brother in Scotland and an uncle in Chicago.
