Title: A substantial rescue mission here of my Mother Olive as a child
Post by: yt2 on Friday 04 April 14 04:50 BST (UK)
I have been clearing some of my mother's effects and found this picture of her at the bottom of a box of cards. As you can see it is in very poor shape - if anyone can make it a bit better, I'd be extremely grateful. She always swore there were no pictures of her as a child ... still, I guess with saggy knickers like those in the picture, it's not surprising she stuck to that story.    ;D

What a lovely picture - children haven't changed over the decades - they are still cute as ever.

LOL ....I'm sure my Mum would've preferred your version but somehow I can still see a bit of charm in the droopy knickers style.

  :o  :o  :o

But thanks for a great job.

Once again, can I thank everyone for their efforts on this - my favourite picture of my mother.

I know it wasn't her favourite picture, but she could always join in with the smiles that it produced in family circles. To see it now in all its restored glory is just something special for me.

Thanks everyone ... I really mean it.
