Hi Guys, I have this spooky and grainy looking family photo, does anyone think that it is improvable at all
Thanks for all your efforts my friends, I think you are right about some of the heads being added to a different photo. My cousin sent me the j peg, I have sent her an email asking if she has the original, but sadly no reply yet. The lady on the left looks the worst one, her head seems to be on the neck too far to the right.

Sorry I am not one of the "restorers" - but hope someone can help. I do agree it does look spooky. In fact, it looks like some of the heads could have been superimposed on bodies??? In particular - from left - the first girl, the 3rd (girl), the 4th (older woman). The heads just seem at strange angles. Could someone already have worked on it?
Good luck with it!

Hi maggbill...A clean up and framed one from me.

Could have an older picture of those particular spooky ones have been put on a younger body?

Have to agree it looks like an add on.
I've resized/repositioned the head on the lady on the left & the one in the middle & think it should be about like this.
-
Also, the lady with her hands clasped in front of her appears to have a hand on her shoulder which doesn't quite look to be at the correct angle to belong to the lady behind her. Or are my eyes playing tricks on me ;D

A colour version from me. It seems less spooky now. , Tommy

Yes Maggbill, I think you are right about some of the heads being added later. I only have a jpeg that my cousin sent me so don't have an answer to the mystery. Regards Richard

Thanks Saddles, well done

Hi jim1, it does look better with a smaller head, and the position is better. I think it could even go a bit further to the left

Tommy, I love the colour version. It does take some of the spookiness out of it

I've marked some of the inconsistencies that leap out. I think it's safe to say that this is a 'doctored' photograph.

Thank-you very much Richard!

Hi Paul
I thought exactly the same, but my cousin says that it is just a small photo that she had scanned, enlarged and printed at Max Spielman. I am gonna get the photo from her and scan it myself, then re post it
