Title: Peltzer and Chowne in Wooburn
Post by: martinlane on Wednesday 14 July 04 22:20 BST (UK)
Does anyone have either of these names in their records? This has become brickwall territory for me :(.  I am looking for an 18th century link......

Hi,
Have you tried the Buckinghamshire History Society? The people there are very helpful, always worth a try to find that missing link! Regards Frances

Hi

The Chowne / Peltzer issue is a long way down my tree. Is it the Chowne /Chown variation you are interested in?

My Chowne are most recently Sussex (Henfield) from about 1812 and then more widespread.
