Charles P. Woods, my uncle,born 1911 in Armagh,Ireland went to Australia around 1948 Lived at 66 Cecil Street, Williamstown, Victoria by 1956 His wife listed in letter as "Dorrie",children (*) involved in soccer in Ireland, and worked as a mechanic.Perhaps also in Australia.
Any help appreciated.

You might be wise to remove the names of any possible LIVING relatives as it is against Rootschat Policy.

If he was your uncle, you will know his parents' names.
Who were they please?
Perhaps also you know what the initial P in his name stood for?

There was a funeral notice in The Advertiser for a Doris Irene WOODS on 30 Aug 2006. 

This appears to be her death notice

29 Aug 2006 90 years at Ceduna   
Published in the Adelaide Advertiser   30 Aug 2006

Is it possible that another death notice was placed on 4 Sep 2006 using a 'pet' name.
