Title: Kimcote cum Walton Baptism please
Post by: sunflower on Sunday 16 March 14 12:49 GMT (UK)
I am trying to confirm some information that has been passed on to me.
I am looking for a baptism of Martha Hames in 1786 to James & Elizabeth Hames at Kimcote cum Walton. If she is there and it's not too much trouble,  did she have any siblings

Thanks
Carol

Are you sure it is James.  I have the registers and I don't have a James and Elizabeth with a Martha but I do have a William and Elizabeth with a Martha and several other siblings.

Hi J

Thanks for the reply. No I am not sure it was James.  The information was passed on to me by another researcher which is why I am trying to prove it.  I would be grateful for any information you have on Martha & siblings so I can see if they fit with who I am looking for.  Also is there any variation on the spelling of Hames?

Edit 17.42 -  I have since found some more information which proves this is not my family, so no need to look any further.  Thanks for your help

Thanks
Carol
