Can anyone add any concrete information to the following details on the early Indian-born badminton and lawn tennis player Violet Elton:

Born [date of birth?] in [town/city?] India
Died March 4, 1969 in Sidmouth, Devon [correct?]

Did not marry [?]

Any help would be appreciated.

I am also looking for the same information on another early badminton and lawn tennis player, Hazel Hogarth, whose place of birth I don't know.

An online reference site puts Hazel's place of birth c1883 India.

Have found this:

Hazel Debohun Hogarth chr. 28 May 1882 Hazaribagh, Bengal, India. Born: 25 April 1882
Parents: David Francis Hogarth and Lucretia.
