Can any one provide any information about the parents of my great grandfather, James Campbell, born July 22, 1850 in Loughgall, County Armagh. They were Arthur Campbell and Hannah Creally. Thanks!

Griffiths has just one Arthur Campbell listed in 1864, in the parish of Loughgall. He had a house and yard (plot 103) in Charlemont town. The PRONI revaluation records show that he remained there till 1876 by which time the house was “down”.

Sorry, my mistake. It should be in NOrthern Ireland posts.

Thanks Elwyn. Is there any mention of his wife? Children?

Griffiths just lists the head of household, so no information on whether he lived there with anyone else. Also I can’t say that it’s your ancestor, merely that he’s the only Arthur Campbell in that parish in Griffiths at that time.
Rootsireland seems to have James' baptism under Loughgall RC. There don’t appear to be any other children baptised to that couple in that parish. Arthur’s marriage appears to be listed, to a Creally, in 1849. Not sure about the first name though. You would need to investigate.

It's pay to view. I got the location etc from the indexes but you would need to pay to see the full information.
