Can anyone please cleanup and colour this brave young airman. He was my wife's uncle who was sadly killed when his Lancaster was shot down during a bombing raid over Druisburg in 1944

Hi.......Is there any chance that you can re scan the photo, it is only 21.7 kb's and you can post your photo up to 500 kb's. Recommended scan is 300dpi and remember to change the physical size of the photo.
There is a tutorial on the board explaining how to size your photo.
With a bigger scan you get a far better result.

Hi...My software gives a scan of only 72dpi not 300dpi as recommended...did you just enlarge the photo as it's very pixelated.

Oh, this is awful, can it be removed please. Di

I think this is a better one. Di

Oh, why is it so huge? It still looks awful. Di, sorry.

It still looks awful. Di, sorry.
No It doesn't.
You need to resize it with your software. drop it to 700 pixels wide and then
have a look. What is happening is that the pixellation is appearing. because you are enlarging
the picture. I think that you have done well.
You might be able to remove it if you wish by clicking on the Modify button on your
reply and then un-ticking the attachment
