I can not find Alice Jeffs birthdate any where. Her age in 1841 Census was 47 years thus born c1793 but where?
Anyone come across this person? She had two daughters, Alice & Caroline. Daughter, Alice married John Reeves, then John Manning, other daughter, Caroline married Thomas Corby.
Thanks,
Marilyn

Does the 1841 entry entry show N or Y against her birthplace (ie) born Warwickshire or elsewhere?
Is she on the 1851 which will give her birthplace or did she die pre-1851

The 1841 shows her living with a John Jeffs aged 40 - possibly her brother. Both are shown as b Warwickshire
In 1851 they are still together but he is shown as a lodger - both were born Napton. However - in 1851 - Alice Smith is aged 50 and John Jeffs is 45

Unfortunately, baptisms for Napton-on-the-Hill, Warwickshire do not appear to be online before 1813.
However, there is a tree on Ancestry which has parents as William and Alice (no other details) and the following children born to them:
Elizabeth bp.17/2/1790 bur.22/6/1792
Alice bc.1793
William bp.13/4/1794
Elizabeth bp.29/8/1796
John bp.9/12/1798
Abraham bp.24/8/1801
Patience bp.22/5/1804

Thank you everyone. I had found most of her siblings (guess) but no parents. I noticed Patience as it is different & Alice (Jeffs) Smith's grand daughter was named Patience Manning, Patience Manning was my 2gr grandmother.
Thanks again,
Marilyn

Have found just 6 burials for Jeffs at Napton on the hill, Warwickshire.
Elizabeth bc.1740 bur.13/6/1820
William bc.1740 bur.12/2/1816
Alice bc.1766 bur.1/9/1816
William bc.1768 bur.10/2/1831
Ann bc.1782 bur.15/10/1821
James bc.1817 bur.7/6/1836
As there are baptism dates given on the tree I mentioned whoever submitted it must have checked the parish register, presumably via the record office.
The burials above would suggest they were the only Jeffs family in the parish with the parents of Alice being William bc.1768 died 1831 and Alice bc.1766 died 1816. Would seem likely that William was the son of Wm.bc.1740 died 1816 and Elizabeth bc.1740 died 1820.
A check would need to be done with the original parish records to confirm.
