Can someone please help me find this marriage, first child Flora Ann b 1859, another child Mary S McKenzie b 1864. I don't know whether there were any more children, but Duncan died in 1869

If we can follow Margaret through the census, it should help answer some of your questions...

Margrett McKENZIE 36, Keeping House, b Cape Breton
Flora Ann McKENZIE 12, Attending School, b Cape Breton
She appears to be the boarding house Keeper, and has 12 Boarders.

1898: Charles McMASTER appears to have died.
Registered in the State Almshouse at Tewkesbury, MA
Died 31 Jul 1898: Chas McMASTER, Single, Born: Cape Breton, Occ: Tailor
CoD: Phthisis,
Residence at Death: Tewkesbury Almshouse
Parents: Daniel, Mary, born Cape Breton
He's listed as Single, but that not say he was!
1907: Flora Ann died in 1907, age 48 in Newton MA as a married woman, Flora Ann CHAMBERLAIN, wife of Chauncey W CHAMBERLAIN. He was the informant.

Ambly, you are magnificent!! Duncan is special to me because he was the only child of 2 x great grandfather and grandmother who stayed when the rest of the family went to NZ in 1858.
I would so love to find a descendant.
