Hello folks,
It's my first post here and I'm looking for some information please about a hospital my late Father was admitted to in April 1943 whilst serving with the RAF.
His RAF Records say he was, "admitted to ROCK FERRY Hospital" but I cannot find any such hospital on 'the web'.
Anybody know please if there ever was a hospital an RAF chap would be sent to?
If it helps he was discharged from there and sent to what looks like "West Kirby Hospital" (the writing is terrible on the RAF Records form, written in "long hand" and not properly decipherable.
Many thanks for your time.

Thanks Jake01 - all this helps.
Does anybody know if this hospital was a "fever" hospital as I see an "Isolation Unit" mentioned?
Perhaps it was a general hospital for "all comers" ? Any clues please?
Thanks TG
