My mothers parents were , James William North , B 4/6/1883 &  Sabina North (nee Fox)B 1885 of   Pleasley Hill UK ,her sisters were ,Ada & Lizzie Fox, & Brothers D. Fox & H. Fox (of Mansfield England)
I would be interested in finding any contacts to the above extended families.
My mother was Jessie North b 2/7/1914 who came to NSW Australia with her parents & sister & brothers in 1925.

On the FreeBMD site there are these children registered in Mansfield to North with mothers maiden name as Fox

Albert North - Sept Q 1912
Jessie North - Sept Q 1914
Miriam North - Sept Q 1917
Clifford North - Sept Q 1920
Ronald North - June Q 1923

James William North & Sabina Fox married in Sept Q 1909 Mansfield Reg District

Are you just looking for descendant's of James & Sabina, or hoping to take the line further back?

On the 1891 census  Mansfield. Sabina is with her parents James- a 38 year old coal miner born Skegby Notts and Hannah a 37 year old from Tibshelf Derbyshire.
The others are David aged 18, Harold age 5 James A age 3 and Ada age 1
The only baptism I can see on the Notts FHS cd is
Pleasley Hill, St Barnabas
25-8-1892 Elizabeth dau of James Fox miner, abode Pleasley Hill and Hannah.

1891 census Skegby
James W North aged 7 is with his parents William a 33 year old coal miner and Ann.
There are only 2 baptisms at Skegby for children of William and Ann North.
20-8-1877 John Henry abode Stanton Hill father a collier
6-12-1878 Sarah Jane   ditto

Marriage Sutton in Ashfield
13-5-1877 William North and Ann Stringfellow.

I am sure you must have the information on the families move to Australia.
On the 6th August 1925  on S.S Ballarat.

Thank you to everyone , for your responses to date. and in response to the questions noted by you.

Yes Sabina (Fox) North her birth date was 1884 , Her children Albert, Jessie, Miriam, Clifford, Via SS Ballarat, with Bernard born Greta NSW 2/2/1926  Together with details of Arthur born 1910 died as infant 1912 in Pleasley Hill, their details are listed in our family records as well as other North family members who came to Australia earlier than 1925. Except for Ronald North- June 1923 with no record in our family.
Our interest is centred on the Fox Family, Ada-Mrs W Swift. Lizzie- Mrs F Ward, David Fox, Harold Fox to gether with any North Family decendants still in the UK.from their families.
