Title: What does (w) or (s) mean on a MEDAL CARD
Post by: lotteex on Thursday 27 February 14 17:11 GMT (UK)
On my grandfather's SWB Medal card, the last column asks if they served oversees answered with  either Yes or No. Before either of these words in brackets is (S) or (W). Does anyone know what these letters refer to?
Many thanks
