Hello forum!
I have been trying to trace someone and know that they live in London, and sadly that is all I know. Could someone please advise how I set about finding out about the 1992 onwards electoral register. I live in London myself. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Rootschat
Electoral registers pre-2002 are only searchable by address
From 2002 they are available online via several websites on a pay per view basis and can be searched alphabetically.
If you Google Electoral registers you can have a look at the various charges made by the sites
Here's a couple

Hi pmy3
If you can't find them on the online electoral registers, it means that they may have 'opted out', they are still eligible to vote but don't appear on the lists that are sold to the likes of 192.com and marketing companies.
You mention you are in London. I suggest you take a trip to the British Library at St Pancras and register as a reader. If you know any last address, you can order up the full registers there and check to see who, over the age of 18, is living there now. They are still arranged by street address, not name.
