Title: 37 Byrom Street Manchester 1927 to 1930
Post by: LostAndFound on Tuesday 18 February 14 16:23 GMT (UK)
Hi

I would really appreciate it if anyone could confirm who was living at the address above in 1927 and any time after.  I believe it was a family by the name of Jones or Quinn but need confirmation.

Many thanks

Hi Lostandfound,

Was hoping to find something in the 1929 street directory, but it just says '35 & 37 [Byrom St] Walton Wm, aparts'
Jones and Quinn would be tenants I presume, so you might have to wait for the Manchester Archives to reopen and look for the electoral rolls - supposed to be reopening this Spring, so not long now

Many thanks Dave and Barbara.  Will have to go to the archives as suggested in the Spring.
